    • Possessions: 1735, ,Shenandoah, Virginia, USA; Soon after the death of Christian Stauffer in 1735, Jacob Funk Sr went to Virginia and purchased a great deal of land there. Of this land, his son later sold 438 acres to Peter Stover, who later founded the town of Strasburg.
    • Will: 15 May 1756, Franconia Twp, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; Jacob Funk Sr bequeathed to his son, Jacob Funk Jr, all of the tracts of land. His wife, Barbara and cousin Christian Funk were named as executors. Franconia Twp, Philadephia County, later became part of Montgomery County.
