    • Residence: 1641, Manhattan Island, New York; Ref. Roger Barton's Kinsmen p18. Roger Barton appears with a party of Dutch emigrants and arrived at Manhattan Island in 1641. He rented what is now Trinity Church property (then Armeke Jans farm.

    • Residence: 1666, Brookhaven, Long Island, New York; Ref. Roger Barton's Kinsmen p19. Abt 1666 Roger Barton was in Brookhaven (then part of Conn. colony). He opposed the Dutch claim to Brookhaven, was ordered to appear before the Dutch Governor. Apparently he did not and his lands were confiscated.
    • Residence: 1670, Westchester County, New York; Ref. Roger Barton's Kinsmen p19. Abt 1670 Roger appears across the Sound in Westchester, is assigned land near the Borough town of Westchester (now the Bronx). He died there in 1688.
    • Will: 28 Jun 1688, Westchester County, New York; Will mentions sons: Elisha, Elijah, Roger. Wife: Mary. Sons: Noah, Enoch, Joseph. Ref: Early Wills of Westchester Co, NT 1664-1784 p388.

He gives to son Elijah land lying to the east of the above. He gives to son Roger "the land given me by the freeholders of the Yonkers Plantation." He gives to wife Mary the rest of his lands in Westchester, with 3 acres of meadow in Long Neck, for life, and then to his sons Noah, Enoch, and Joseph.
