    The above register info CONFLICTS with information from Stauffer Stover Family History 1899 pg 195. This reference suggests Daniel Stauffer (b. abt 1630) had a son named Hans (Johannes) Stauffer b. btw 1650-55).

    More conflicting information exists in Genealogical Memoranda, STOUFFER, by Kate Snively, pg 14. This reference ALSO suggests that Daniel (b. abt 1633) was the father of Hans (b. btw 1650-55).
