Margarette Hersman b. 19 Oct 1781, d. 1834, dau of Christopher and Margaret Cunningham Hersman, m. Abraham Leatherman, son of Nicholas Leatherman. Abraham bought land adjacent to his brother, Daniel Leatherman, on Patterson Creek. This land was sold to Abraham and Margarette in 10 Jun 1806 by Daniel Stover and wife Catharine, who was a sister of Abraham.
