- Ref: Jacob Stover and Sallie McGhee, Raleigh Co VA, pg 1. There are questions of Jacob's father being Henry Stover 1741-1798. Henry had a son Jacob. Just not certain it's THIS Jacob.
Daniel Bly has doubts that he is a descendant of Jacob and Sarah Boone Stover, since Sarah was English, not German, so Henry might not be inclined to sign his will in German script as Heinrich Stauffer.
