- This Thomas Fletcher was identified early as the husband of Margaret, however it now appears to be incorrect. Margaret was from Currituck County NC and so far is not connected to Massachsetts.
A Sep 1759 reference to the Currituck Probate Court mentions: Peggy Fletcher, widow of Robert, is requesting letters of admin. after delay of three years. So if this is our Peggy, then she was married to ROBERT, nit Thomas.
