Notes |
- Many internet entries state that Christian married Sarah Lymebok prior to the Rev olutionary War ca 1774. Little is known about Sarah. In addition to Sarah Lymebok, her name has been reported as Sarah or Susan Lymbaugh or Lymebough.
Her grandson, Abraham Miller Jr. offers some clarity. He wrote "Abraham Miller, Jr., May 1 1883, who was born December 13th, 1811, in Cumberland, Doe River, Carter County, East Tennessee, Son of George Miller and Lydia (Stover) his wife. Grand parents were John Miller and Mary Keenes, his wife and Christian Stover and Sarah Lymebok, his wife. Great grand parents on both sides were High Dutch and all from Germany to the United States in the 17th Centruy. (Signed Abraham Miller, Jr.)"
